Welcome to Assumption Parish Religious Education!
Our program partners with parents in strengthening Catholic
identity through regular religious instruction and participation
in the Catholic community of faith. The curriculum is designed
to spiral from one year to the next with the Sacraments
of Reconciliation and Eucharist celebrated in the second grade
and Confirmation celebrated in the eighth grade at the
Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis.
Through the dedication of our volunteer catechists,
we are committed to bringing Christ alive to all the children
we are entrusted. Catechists are encouraged to continue their
formal faith formation through the
Paul VI Program of the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Religious Education classes are offered for grades 1-8.
Grades 7&8:

Grades 1-6:

Wednesday 5:00-6:15
Wednesday: 6:30-7:45Q: HOW CAN GOD HEAR EVERYONE'S PRAYERS AT ONCE ? A: God can hear everyone's prayers at once because God is everywhere. We can only be in one place at a time, and usually we can't understand more than one person at a time. But God is not like us-he is not limited. Not only can God hear and understand everyone who is praying to him in many different languages, but he also can give each person his full attention. Isn't that great?
